Place unused, legally possessed, medication into the provided envelope. If you are returning a liquid, the maximum amount allowed is 3.3 fl. oz. Be sure to tightly seal the liquid in the original container, and place the container into a sealed bag with the absorbent pad before placing into the mail back envelope.
Carefully seal the mail back envelope to ensure secure transport. Do not fill the mail back envelope over the Do Not Overfill line.
If you are tracking the return, record the tracking number as indicated on the provided card.
Mail the sealed envelope at a U.S. Post Office or USPS drop box.

Medications should be in original containers when placed into the Mail Back Take Back envelopes.
Envelopes are only for proper disposal of controlled (Schedules II-V) and non-controlled prescribed medications.
No Schedule 1 illegal substances, sharps, batteries, aerosol cans, flammable, or radioactive materials.
Liquids must be placed in a sealed/zip-locked plastic bag before being placed inside the envelope.
No more than four ounces of liquids can be included in each mailing.
No sale to Hawaii, Alaska or US Territories
Envelopes can only be mailed within US Customs areas: the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
Do not take this envelope to a pharmacy.
